Please don’t feed the wildlife!

Pleasure Island is located off the southeastern shore of North Carolina. It consists of Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher.

Our island provides a well-protected habitat for a diverse array of wildlife. Sea turtles, dolphins, foxes, and many other woodland and marine species can be spotted in the state park and on our pristine beaches, tidal pools, and sand dunes.

Our mission is to educate and advocate for the peaceful coexistence of humans and wildlife on Pleasure Island, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all.
